Organization and Operation

Opimian was founded in 1973 and operates as a non-profit private import wine club where all members benefit from its nationwide purchasing power regardless of their province of residence. 

16,000 members from coast to coast to coast have their interests looked after by the head office in Montreal; 26 regional Area Representatives and the Board of Directors.

To best serve our members, Opimian is organized into chapters. Each is based in a specific geographic area and looked after by a volunteer Area Representative who is your primary contact. The Area Representative organizes events, looks after wine deliveries and recruits new members.

Membership Information

Membership in Opimian is in the name of an individual.

The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31, annually.

Offerings, invitations and all Opimian information is sent in the mail.
The website is designed as an alternative for all mailed material (except Quench magazine and pick-up notices).
